- as we have done for over 40 years, around the world!
Once your particular need for material handling equipment, automated and custom machinery, and/or fabrication is known, we at Transco will immediately respond. Our talented people will carefully review your specifications and drawings. Working directly with our professional design staff, a Transco Sales Engineer will prepare a concise written proposal (including project drawings) of how we will solve your particular requirements.
This detailed information is then presented and carefully explained to you by our representative. We have the unique ability to operate as part of your staff, collaborating to provide the equipment and services expected, in a timely and economic fashion.
Upon approval of our proposal, our skilled engineering staff will complete a detailed analysis to determine the proper size, type and design necessary to meet your particular requirements. This engineering staff includes talented engineers who have expertise in our business, recognized for their attention to detail, a common sense approach, and knowledge of the economics of the project. They are here solely to learn about and solve your specific needs. We have the ability to immediately expand our staff when needed since over the years we have established positive working relationships with many of the leading engineering consulting firms within the areas of our expertise.
Our production planners, working from final drawings, now determine the precise material requirements for your job. They identify what parts are either to be procured from stock, purchased or made by Transco. We have the flexibility to manufacture an item or purchase outside when economically feasible... a further example of the concern and commitment to high quality in everything Transco does. Our Production Planning Department also determines exactly how the bulk material handling equipment, custom machinery or fabrication you need is to be manufactured.
We are ready to start manufacturing for you in our 100,000 square foot facility. Our Metal Preparation Department will shear, saw, punch and form metal to be used for particular parts and components. Once inspected and cataloged, they are sent to a selected area of the plant for further fabrication. Here, they are fabricated and assembled using various procedures including welding in accordance with Government and AWS Specifications. Upon assembly, your work is transferred to the Finishing Department, shot blasted and painted to your specification. Our large machine shop is available to produce all machine component parts as required.
Our Quality Control Technicians will perform inspection services per Government, AWS, or your specifications. Technicians are certified to perform non-destructive testing per Government and AWS regulations. The Quality Control Department will maintain documentation of materials and procedures used on each and every project.
We will install anything we build, whether it be a basic component, total machine, or complete system. This includes: site preparation; concrete foundations; steel erection; equipment placement; supervision of plumbing and electrical connections, custom plc and computer programming; initial start-up at your facility. Or if you elect, our competent and skilled engineers will completely oversee and supervise such installation by your personnel or a contractor of your choice.
And yes, service...without it, we would be just another supplier. At Transco, service is first and foremost. That's more than a phrase; it's a Transco commitment!
Transco has established an outstanding reputation of servicing everything it sells. We will respond 24 hours a day to any need. And, when asked, we will counsel you in solving your problems on other supplier's similar equipment or machinery. Our experienced service technicians will either arrange to personally correct the problem at your facility, or have a competent technician in your area handle the situation. This same devoted, informative and responsive attitude toward service prevails throughout the Customer Service Department at Transco. Our customer service personnel are here for one reason only...to help you solve bulk material handling, customer machinery and fabrication problems. Whether you need replacement parts, components, or the solution to a complete material handling situation, our people will respond without delay.
That's the Transco story. Now you know why we are proud to say...
